What a Milestone—Twenty Years of Ministry!

Celebrate with MJBI at the Arlington Convention Center as we present our 20th Anniversary event, “Forward.” We will honor Dr. Wayne and Bonnie Wilks for their two decades of sacrificial dedication providing global educational opportunities for Messianic Jewish ministry while glimpsing at what God has in store for the next twenty years.

Adding to this stellar event will be our featured speaker, Rick Perry, Governor of Texas from 2000 to 2015. Governor Perry will offer what is certain to be invaluable and timely insight following the 2016 Election.

Don’t miss this very significant and joyful evening celebrating MJBI’s past while looking forward to the future!

Special Guest

Rick Perry

A fifth generation Texan, Governor Rick Perry has taken an extraordinary Texas journey, from a tenant farm in the rolling West Texas plains to the governor’s office of our nation’s second largest state.

Texas’ 47th governor (2000-2015), and the first Texas A&M graduate to occupy the Governor’s Mansion, Rick Perry has led a life of public service, starting in the United States Air Force and continuing over two decades in elected office.

Governor Perry’s administration focused on creating a Texas of unlimited opportunity and prosperity by improving education, securing the border and increasing economic development through classic conservative values.

During his tenure, Governor Perry maintained a strong focus on fiscal discipline, becoming the only Texas governor since World War II to sign budgets that reduced general revenue spending.

  • Kadima/קדימה: Forward!

The theme for this year’s banquet event is “Forward” which in Hebrew is “Kadima”. In Israel, you will often hear Kadima used by parents telling their children to get moving, or in the military to command soldiers to advance with purpose and force.  Kadima is also found in Israel’s national anthem, HaTikvah (the hope). Here, Kadima translates “to the East!” or more literally “To Israel!”

This year, as MJBI celebrates twenty years of ministry, we are moving Forward! Specifically, forward to Israel!  God is regathering His people to Israel in growing numbers, and MJBI is at the center of His work. For “The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this!” (Isaiah 9:7)

What is MJBI’s role in Forward?

MJBI is celebrating twenty years of ministry. The theme for this year’s fundraising banquet is “Forward” (or in Hebrew: Kadima). Kadima literally means to ‘go forward’. We honor the Lord for all he has done for the past twenty years and we look forward to the future of what He has in store for the next twenty years. Once the cost of the event has been covered, all proceeds will go to fulfill the mission of the MJBI.

I want to show my support for MJBI by donating to MJBI; how do I do that?

We have several different donation options. Please click here to donate today.

Is my ticket/table purchase tax deductible?

Yes. MJBI is recognized as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization by the IRS. The IRS will consider any contribution over the amount of $75 per person, which is the Fair Market Value, to MJBI as tax deductible. For example, if you purchase a $5,000 table for 10, $750 of this amount is not tax deductible. Or, if you purchase a $100 individual ticket, $75 of this amount is not tax deductible.

What is Planned Giving?

One way to ensure MJBI carries on for posterity is planned giving through your Will or Estate. To do this, all you have to do is select a specific dollar amount or designate a percentage of your Estate after other disbursements. A bequest in your Will or Estate allows you to not only pledge your support now, but it lets your gift be a blessing beyond your life.
